Villages in Partnership work with a number of local community groups and help in the search for funding and with setting up projects and events.
Simon Kenyon, Project Officer for the charity said “It’s great that we can support local groups both financially and with project management. These groups help keep the community spirit alive and the grants are a lifeline for some of them. If you are a local community group that would like some help searching out possible funders, help with completing funding application forms, or advice with projects, please give us a call. We can help you to submit bids for funding for your projects. In the past, we have helped several bowling clubs, village halls, scout groups, brass bands, sporting groups and many more.
Much of our funding comes from our three charity shops, based in Longton, Eccleston and Burscough. We offer a nice shopping experience in all our shops. We are always looking for donations of clothes and bric-a-brac."
