This year, Burscough Parish Council teamed up with the VISIT project to stage a series of free Heritage Walks, to compliment Burscough Heritage Week. The weather was kind and walkers enjoyed learning about the history of the canal, the pubs, military history and transport from knowledgeable speakers on each subject.
